Pending the result of the review of barangay budget for the ensuing year by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, can the Barangay already implement program, projects and activities (PPAs) indicated in the budget?

Yes. The Barangay can implement its PPAs in accordance with its barangay budget once approved/enacted by its Sangguniang Barangay. If within 60 days the Sanguniang Panlungsod have no action taken, then the barangay budget is deemed operative. However, if there were items for corrections/adjustments upon review, then the barangay should adjust their budget accordingly.
